I am so curious about whether these (and other) prophets actually believed God was speaking to them, or if they were just making up shit and saying 'God told me'. Paul the Apostle and Mohammed particularly strike me as guys who really just had very firm convictions on 'how things should be', and were probably just sufficiently mentally loopy to believe they were God's messengers.
